Postgraduate Fine Art Studies alumni (M.F.A. equivalent) from Hamidrasha Faculty of Arts, Beit Berl. During the studies (2018) was granted the Igal Zak excellency award.
B.Sc. Biology alumni from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and painting studies at Hakolel – contemporary studio of painting.

Artist's Statement
My art practice is saturated with metaphors. It travels between the thin borderlines of personal breakdowns, my point of view on various current political-social situations, art and photography history, the collective unconscious of common archetypes and myths of the humankind.
I invite you to visit uncanny, imaginary, parallel and mental worlds. This is a neo-romantic animalistic journey from the reality and back. The paintings, collages and the prints are the protagonists. The main characters in these tales are different kinds of creatures and animals. All of them are engaged in dramatic activities. There, as much as in reality, the forces of nature, all the living and the deceased beings are connected in fragile reciprocal affair of coexistence.
The paintings are created gradually, mostly with layers of oil and occasionally with an addition of oil pastel touches usually on a surface of linen or canvas that I stretch myself. Most of the works start with acrylics or shellac imprimatura.
The collages are in fact collage-paintings as they are made from papers that I color with acrylic paints and inks.
Another ingredient of my practice are the handmade linocut prints, usually printed with ultramarine color ink.
As an artist that grown up in to the massive usage of the digital platforms, my color palette is post-internet by its nature, glowing, sometimes dark and fluorescent. In fact, I do not use the fluorescent colors often. The glowing atmosphere is achieved due to the complex relationships between the pigments of the color composition of the painting.
The art practice is in constant evolution, as one work leads to others and plays a significant role in the formation and the development of the new ones. This way, one idea leads to burst of other future ideas.
There is no strict binary division of the reality and the fiction in my work. The figurative areas entwined with and in to the abstract ones. On one hand there are elements that communicate on the mental level, but on the other handstand the other elements that remain enigmatic. These two aspects make the two sides of the same coin which is the fantastic, foreign, unique and yet familiar universe that I create.

הצהרת אמנית
העשייה האמנותית שלי טעונה במטפורות ונעה בגבולות דקים שבין משברים אישיים, נקודת מבט שלי על מצבים פוליטיים-חברתיים עכשווים, תולדות האמנות והצילום והלא-מודע הקולקטיבי של הארכיטיפים והמיתוסים של האנושות.
בציורי אני מזמינה לבקר בעולמות מנטליים, מוזרים, מקבילים ומדומיינים. זהו מסע של בריחה ניו-רומנטית חייתית מהמציאות וחזרה אליה. הציורים, הקולאז'ים וההדפסים הם מספרי הסיפורים. הדמויות הראשיות בסיפורים אלה הן לרוב חיות ויצורים משונים. לכל הנפשות הפועלות ישנו תפקיד בהתרחשות הדרמטית. בדיוק כמו במציאות, כוחות הטבע, היצורים החיים והמתים, כולם מחוברים בינם לבין עצמם ביחסי גומלין שבריריים.
העבודה על הציורים היא הדרגתית וכוללת מספר שכבות של שמן, לעתים בתוספת של פסטל שמן, על מצע פשתן או קנבס שאני מותחת. כאשר רוב הציורים מתחילים מאימפרימטורה של שלאק או אקריליק.
הקולאז'ים גם הם ציורים, הם מורכבים מניירות בצביעה עצמית עם צבעי אקריליק או דיו.
גוף העבודות הנוסף בפרקטירה שלי הם הדפסי הלינולאום, שאני מגלפת ומדפיסה, בדרך כלל בצבע הדפס בגוון כחול.
כאמנית שגדלה אל תוך השימוש המסיבי בממשקים דיגיטליים, הצבעוניות שלי היא פוסט-אינטרנטית, חשוכה, זוהרת וזרחנית. בפועל אינני מרבה להשתמש בצבעים זוהרים. תחושת הזוהר נוצרת בזכות מערכות יחסים מורכבות שבין הפיגמנטים בקומפוזיציה הצבעונית של הציור.
תהליך העבודה שלי נמצא באבולוציה מתמדת, כך שעבודה מסוימת מובילה לאחרות ומשחקת תפקיד משמעותי בהתגבשות ובהתפתחות העבודות הבאות אחריה. כך רעיון אחד מוביל לצרור רעיונות ההמשך.
בציורי לא קיימת חלוקה חד משמעית בין המציאות לבין הבדיה. אזורים פיגורטיביים שזורים יחד ובתוך אזורים מופשטים.
מצד אחד, ישנם אלמנטים המתקשרים ברמה המנטלית. מצד שני, ניצבים אלמנטים אחרים הנשארים בגדר תעלומה. אלה הם שני הצדדים של אותו המטבע, המהווה את היקום הפנטסטי, הזר, הייחודי אך עם זאת מוכר אשר נברא בעבודותי.
